TIME

Time...

like a jellyfish so slippery and slimy,
it slips away when you try to catch hold of it.
To catch hold of time, you need to tighten your grip.
Dont let it slip away, as it will never come back.

The Mystery of mysteries

You feel drowsy,
You feel dreamy,
You fell bedazzled with mystery.

You smell the aroma,
You smell the sweetness,
You smell the fragrance of a potent potion.

You seem floating,
You seem drunk,
You seem poisoned by something.

You faintly see white misty clouds,
You doubtfully see small little hearts,
You clearly see you're under a spell.

You realise you are falling,
You realise you are sinking,
You realisw you are plunging deeper down.

You smile unconsciously,
You sigh without reason,
you cry uncontrollably,
You hum without season.

What is that magnificient mystery?
What is in that potent potion?
What is so poisonous, that little something?
What is the secret to that spectacular spell?

There is no answer,
There is no cure,
There is no explanation...
To falling in love.

Here comes the bride

Wedding bells are ringing,
Birds in the sky are chirping,
Angels of heaven are singing,
For here comes the bride.

Glittering with a diamond tiara,
Stunning in that white satin gown,
Shimmering in those silvery shoes,
Ever radiant, with a smile, she glows.

Adorned with elegance she steps through the door,
She hears gasps, she sees a drop of jaws,
She walks to him, she whispers, 'Darling, I am yours'
He answers, 'This is the angel I've been waiting for.'

Exchanging vows from the bottom of their hearts,
Saying in unison, 'Till death do we part.'
Joy and love divine, this new life is filled,
With a tender true kiss, eternally sealed.

Cinderella

Sitting by the stone cold hearth,
Beside the flickering flame,
Where dancers with feathers and funky fans,
Twirl gracefully in the ruby red fire.

The clock ticking on the mantelpiece,
The fire hissing like a slithery snake,
The wind howling like a wild, wicked wolf,
Rattling the windows loud and clear.

Gazing out of the tinted glass,
She catches a glimpse of sunset,
Where a distance away lies the horizon,
Outlined with golden thread.

A beam of light from far, far away,
Sweeps swiftly across the sky,
Leaning backwards with eyelids shut tight,
She wishes upon the shooting star.

She hears a tap, she hears a knock,
She rises up, she answers the door,
She stares, she gasps, she smiles with joy,
Slipping into the shoe.

No more tatters, no more rags,
Now adorned with diamonds and jewels,
With her prince they ride off to a castle of love,
Together forever, may they happily live.

Everlasting Beauty

Like ice meting away in a circle of heat,
You melted my heart and swept me off my feet.
Like a falling snowflake from the sky above,
My heart was tickled with that tinge of love.

Like a kite taking off in the cool breezy noon,
You took me on a carpet ride right to the moon.
Like seashells washed up shore at the glint of sunrise,
So I got a message in a bottle from the incoming tide.

Like stars twinkling in the dark of the night,
I have in me one star glowing, shining so bright.
Like little sparrows chirping at the sight of dawn,
The voices of angels within me are born.

There is no single cloud in the clear summer's day,
Nor is there a dark patch in my golden sky of rays.
There isn't a petal that will never wither,
But I hold a flower that will bloom forever.

His and Hers

She is his brightest star,
His sweetest scent,
His ever radiant rose.

He was her warest ray,
Her strongest pillar,
Her cool breeze in the blazing heat.

Her only guardian,
His only angel,
His and her Valentine forever.
